The Story
Velvet & Vine was born from a simple question: where do you go in Los Angeles for great wine without the pretension? Sommelier Nadia Torres and chef Rafael Ochoa opened the doors in Highland Park in 2022 with 40 bottles on the list and a six-seat bar. Today, the list has grown to over 120 labels, but the bar still seats six. Some things are worth keeping small.
